The marina - under constant developmentThe development of the Napoleon harbour is going to allow the creation of 90 berths supplementary.
An extension project for 200 berths is scheduled in the outer harbour, following the redevelopment of the Cross-Channel Terminal. Then, in the medium term, the creation of a large 1,000 to 1,200 berths marina is planned, designs for which have already been completed.
Initially, an extension along the Chanzy quay will allow the creation of 200 additional berths.
The creation of a dry berth with capacity for 350 boats is currently under study.
Having a large marina and associated services is an important factor for developing tourism in Boulogne-sur-Mer, an officially designated Town of Art and History which has much to offer. The creation of a port capable of accommodating 1,000 to 1,200 boats in the harbour of Boulogne is also under study.
