Smoked fish fillets, (salmon, herring, mackerel, haddock, halibut), kippers, sprats, pickles, rollmops, fish roe, etc., are the main products available.

This activity represents two-thirds of fish salting and smoking done in France.

Ten companies are involved, employing some 400 persons. It treats 10 000 tons of finished products each year.
