A multi-purpose port in a region of high performance logistics
The commercial port of Boulogne-sur-Mer is open 24 hours a day. It is ideally situated being in the immediate vicinity of the busiest navigation channel in the world and at the junction between the Channel and the North Sea, as well having within easy motorway and rail accesses. |

The 800 metre long Europe wharf was built in 1967. It is accessible to vessels as long as 230 metres that have a draught of 34 feet, thus avoiding the passage of a lock gate. |
It is doted with high performance multi-purpose equipment. |

To make Boulogne-sur-Mer the port of call
for the leading sea-road transports; this is the major project that the
Boulogne-sur-Mer / Côte d’Opale Chamber of Commerce and Industry is undertaking
with the development of the Freight Hub port terminal, the creation of a
logistics platform and a piggybacking terminal on the site of existing
yards.
