The Port of Boulogne-sur-Mer is ideally situated being in the immediate vicinity of the busiest navigation channel in the world and at the junction between the Channel and the North Sea. It is a port that has a multitude of activities: premier fishing port of France; a high-performing commercial port; and a marina which is constantly expanding.

The Port of Boulogne is the 1st European Centre for the transformation, commercialisation and distribution of seafood products. Each year 300 000 tons of fish are treated by the companies installed in the port.

After several years of absence, a cross-Channel link between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Dover is now reinstated.

The Port is managed by the Boulogne-sur-Mer Côte d’Opale Chamber of Commerce and Industry who continue to provide the necessary investment for the future by means of the Region-State contract plan. This will enable to improve further the quality of existing harbour installations and offer more services to its customers.
