Objective: To make Boulogne-sur-Mer the preferred port of call on the major Motorways of the sea.

Occupying an exceptional position, located at a junction point for sea and rail connections, the ‘Hub Port Boulogne’ Project, a logistics platform for the unloading and loading of maritime freight, is developing the facilities needed to accommodate conventional and high-speed ships.

The construction of the new ro-ro terminal and the first linkspan have been started up at the beginning of the second period of 2008.

The first linkspan of the ro-ro terminal will be operational from 1st July 2009.
